Ben Haskins out of ICU, bored....

Ben is currently conscious. He's at OHSU, no longer in ICU, and invites all to visit him in room 13A16.
He broke his left elbow and right pelvic bone. He was scheduled for surgery yesterday, placement of pins in his arm, but the hospital was too booked, so they made him go hungry until around 9 when they realized that keeping his stomach empty for surgery was a lost cause.

He said he would love to have cookies with "Fuck Off" flakes, so I plan to make him some. I'm glad I could make him laugh, except he said his lungs are bruised, so that hurts too.

He still doesn't remember much from the evening except for being up at 3.0, then waking up in the hospital.
He knows he's lucky to be alive, very lucky.

The good news is, his dad says he needs to install a brake before he goes ZooBombing again. Dutch? Ancient?

I would love to build him a new assacre, And I am patiently awaiting the frame that fiona offered me. Dutch, you said you may have one? I Know what I am going to do with the first one I get.

  I still say it Tim. Ask around, from everything I heard, and from what Ben himself says, brakes wouldn't have made any difference because he wasn't trying to slow down, he was trying to speed up, passing on the outside of a right-hand turn. Feel free to pretend you made a point though.

   I just came down from seeing him. He lost about 20 hours of memories. He'll be in physical therapy for at least a week. He wants to try to walk ASAP, but I've been telling him to take it easy and let it heal properly. Two fractures to his pelvic bone. He's still restless even with all the morphine. I guess it's a good thing he doesn't take pills to get high or he'd be hurting, eh?
 
Did anyone get pictures of the Lexus or anything else? He'd like them posted. His assacre is still in his dad's truck and we'll be getting pictures of it posted for him too. He wants to chop and rebuild with it, as a sort of a trophy, if possible.

the asskins works out i think.  i just got back. been with ben all day. i'll be returning to him tomorrow cause ben is like family to me, and i'll be taking my camera with me to take pictures. but he's ok his whole family visited while i was there. he is obstinant as always. he never takes a brake i swear. but thats ben for ya, you gotta love him for being that way
