We're not really fighting. We have all been hurt to varying degrees by our activities and hope that Ben makes a full recovery. I speak for myself only of course but I think  "my friends" who bomb would agree that we are trying to give some advice so Ben and everyone who reads this forum will bomb smarter and safer in the future. It's really safer and more fun for us all if folks bomb with a good balance
between:

• transport equipment (decent tires, brakes, frame structure, etc.)
• safety equipment (lights, pads, fullface, gloves, etc.)
• experience
• common sense

If I see twitch bombing on his chopper with the frame being held together by a chain I wouldn't even lock my bike up with, no helmet, no lights, cigarette in mouth, probably no brakes, I don't even think twice about it. But when I see someone I don't know (been bombing less than a year or so) bombing the same way I feel I should sick dallmom on them. I am an anarchist, meaning I make up my own rules but I don't make rules for anyone else, but I want zoobomb keep growing and the only way that can happen is if we keep people out of the hospital and on their bikes (transport mechanism of choice).

yeah, everytime i see twitch on the hill i find myself mumbling "Jesus fucking christ..." and "goddamnit twitch..." quite a bit.
do we know how much longer ben is in the hospital? i'd like to visit him on sunday if he's still there.

I've found that if you are not an asshole to Twitch, he's not an asshole to you. Funny how that works, huh?

His chop looks badly constructed, which is deliberate, it's actually pretty sturdy since he's broken it a few times and subsequently strengthened it. I had a "flex chain" on one of my choppers, and I think ch<>ps did too, they aren't structural, they just keep the fork from bending if you hit a big bump.

anyways status report so that everyone knows. ben is at home. he went home yesterday. i just didnt feel like posting cause i was tired last night. but he is out and hobbling around. havent gone to see him in his new setting yet though so i have no idea how he's doing today. truthfully i give him three weeks tops to be bombing again. if he is healed or not he's gonna want to bomb within three weeks tops if not earlier.
