First of all, Ben I'm glad your home and doing better! Now about his ride. I can't help but think this could have been avoided. I believe Bens inspiration came from the other ASS ache rider. I spent alot of time arguing about brakes, you can see I wasn't listened to. What I find kind of ironic is that jail face uses a brake but says it isn't needed(Soul I believe that is your claim also).I can't say it enough, Get Some Brakes. Ben I hate to say it, but I think you might be eating turkey before you bomb again. Heal fast,Heal well Ben! PS please stop taking bad advice.

After zoobombing for a couple years I started riding an assacre and it became my #1 "bike" instantly. I rode for a long time without any brakes. While I did enjoy "bragging" on my fearless nature, I did install a front brake and here's the deal...
My assacre was leaned way back for limited wind resistance. If you wanted to brake you had to sit up a little to get good friction for yo' feets. This made you change position some every time you wanted to shave speed. When I put that front brake on it was a whole new ball game. Like when you're on the couch and someone brings you a beer instead of having to get up for it...it just helps your flow. All I had to do was wiggle my finger to shave speed. I was so much more comfortable, locked into the cockpit. I would still have to use my feet if I had to suddenly stop for a light or max but I could hit the turns so much faster if I could hold my body still. That's the whole deal with the assacre, you get to keep way more speed through the turns cause of the low center and you get to keep the speed longer cause of the low wind resistance.

the point that we're trying to get across is that if he HAD brakes, he would be able to stop in an emergency situation WAY better than air braking or foot braking alone. if you're going to have a single brake, it's better to have just a front brake. braking power is roughly 70%/30% front/back.

Thanks for all the concern and critical scepticism but I was pissed of because I had so many problems with the build and I was working on gravel and when I took the nuts off I didn't put them into a container and they got lost I didn't have any more nuts that size and I live in the country and didn't have any money to spend on it. On the brightside I have every insurance that you can but we still are gonna have to pay a few thoousand because I was in the ICU for three days I don't remember anything about the acident or anything from after the hill through wendsday and I am still having short term memory loss. I am fine and it seems the guys car I hit is rich and nice but we are going to pay for the damage to his car. Actually our insurance will pay for the damage. I would love to here what people saw to see if it will spark my memory I am doing fine and wiill soon post pics of my elbow which has 16 stitches and also my x-rays once I get them. I broke my elbow in three places and my ass in two places they had to screw the bones back together so I am now like HD I am part bionic yay. I am taking Vicoden every 5 hours and Ibuprofen every 6 hours. My arm won't bend right now more than about 10 degrees because of the swelling and stitches. I have a footlong bruise on the inside of my left thigh that looked like a peice of pepperoni pizza. I would like to thanks all the zoobombers for their support escpecially Chef Jave and Soul. Despite Jave being annoying on the forums/ wherever else he has been there for me bringing me ice cream and even coming to my house a 3 hour journey by bus to give me books and trying to teach me magik. Aaron came by the hospital alot and was very nice to me. While I was in the hospital the pain in my arm right after the surgery was so great that giving me morphine didn't even stop the pain and neither did oxycodon so they gave me a shot of Delaudid and stopped complaining. I am doing well I have progressed quickly from not being able to walk to walking sideways with a cane then I said screw the cane and I was able to walk normally without it. Yesterday I was walking outside and I had a random spurt of dizziness which made me fall over and down an embankment into multiple pointing objects. I hope to be all better and bombing soon. My Dad I think won't ever let me bomb again until I move out but he changes his mind easily. Enough typing for now once again thanks all

Hi Ben, Glad your doing better. Use your cane, stop falling down! Take your time and heal well, the hill isn't going any where. I know it's hard to sit back and watch others have fun, but you'll get your chance again. Take this time off and exercise your brain, learn wheel building or get caught up on school work. Keep your mind busy and you'll be healed before you know it. Take care Ben. PS, jave went way beyond annoying.

yeah plus, if you had DIED zoobomb would be over now and we'd all be pissed.
dont do shit that could lead to your death on the hill. like riding assacres with sharp edges that you can impale yourself on...SOUL. i've seen your ride. it looks like it could kill you.
